the last couple of days have been kind of exhausting... my husband's grandmother was put in the hospital on monday with viral pneumonia. this morning at almost 4am his parents called us to the hospital as grandma was put into icu. she has rallied some today but there isn't too much that they can do for her, she is very weak, on oxygen and being given medication to 'make her comfortable'. we will just have to wait and see...
on a more upbeat note, my brother and his 3 year-old son were rough-housing this weekend and subsequently my brother was injured. he went to the doctor today after he thought that he had discovered a lump. the good news is that it is ONLY a hematoma...it should be gone within six weeks without any other complications. my brother will just be uncomfortable for quite some time until his body absorbs this. but that is WONDERFUL news.
i hope that your week is going well. i was looking forward to the weekend, however, at this point it seems that we have a cloud hanging over our head... but i will say as i always say... GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!!

my GRATITUDE journal entry for yesterday was I am grateful for baking cookies with taylor and drinking hot "chotolate"!! ~what a sweet little girl that God has brightened our life with!! i am grateful!!

Lori, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry to hear about D's gramma. Let me know if there is anything you need or D. I am glad your brother is safe and free from anything harmful even though he is in pain right now. Thinking of you. Lots of hugs to you.
